Several weeks back, I wrote about visiting a "pasalubong" (a local dialect, meaning surprise) store. I haven't really had the time to go back there, and the last time I did there wasn't much choices left to buy.
I have had the chance to bring home a biplane woodcraft consruction kit and a classic car woodcraft construction kit. These pasalubongs have had their limelight, and in turn gave me "pogi" points with my kids.
This weekend after conducting a training session for secular work, I had the impulse to go and voila.. A wooden puzzle project for the taking. To give you a better idea, here's the snapshot of what I got.
The packaging was smaller than usual. And it didn't look like the previous ones I got. So I brought it home and didn't show it to my kids since I was expecting the construction to be a bit more complicated than the previous ones. I mean, look at the picture above, isn't it as complicated as it looks?
However, after opening the package, I was surprised at what I saw..
This seems a little off than the previous ones I built, as the instructions came with numbers! -- numbers that indicated which pieces go together. I am quite excited to proceed with the build, but I don't want to spoil the surprise just yet.
I'm not 100% sure yet if indeed those numbers mean what I perceive as their purpose. And I really cannot understand the foreign writing. To me they are like hieroglyphics! But for now I have to put it off. I will post the build later.. Am taking the kids out for lunch.
(If anyone knows the language in the instructions, kindly translate for me.)
