DIY studio storage

Yesterday I spent a few hours in my studio building a large flat storage shelf for my art supplies. Some of my paper blocks are delicate, and will warp over timeif I lean them up against something, so they need to be stored flat.

I found the idea online, and got my materials at Ikea. 6 table tops at 15.99 each and 6 sets of cabinet legs for the same price. Just around €200 for the whole project... Compared to buying something like a large blueprint cabinet which can cost thousands. After all the drilling, I glued the bottoms of the legs to each table top as I stacked them. I highly recommend this project for anyone looking for a cheap solution for some large flat storage.

After I was all done I enjoyed finally getting things off the floor of my studio and doing some more painting 🤗
