This thing i am going to make is an IR Blaster .It just emulates an infrared remote control ,taking power from audio jack , converting digital signals into infrared light .

First thing to do is soldering the positive and negative led wires .

You need to connect Led1-to Led2+ Led1+ to Led2-

Then connect the wires to Audio Jack Left and right connections . Polarity doesn't mater

After you 've done with the conections , you can now add some melted plastic with hot gun

And you are done !

insert the IR Blaster into your phone audio jack , and find some app on the app store to use .

I recomand ZaZa remote control (IOs &Android)

You need to find the right Tv and model , so it might take a while until the app finds the setings .It will eventually work .

I 'm a complete noob at electronics , but this it's not rocket science , just 30 min of work .

Great job Claudiu! Maybe we will need that simple trick someday. Do you have any other tricks in the pocket?

Hopefully your pet won't chew any of your electronics .

Great DIY trick! Thanks!
