I know it's been a long time but I finally got around to working on this rifle stock again. I wanted to give the olivewood a couple months of drying to make sure it wouldn't warp or crack. That action looks like a Springfield 03-a3, but I could be wrong...

Correct!! It's a springfield 1903 Mk1, same as an 03a3 except for the slot in the left of the receiver and the bottom metal is slightly different
