DIY Offgrid in Hawaii - Small Avocado Wood Bowl

I worked on this small Avocado Wood Bowl over the last two days.

I turned this on our lathe from some of the wood we found on the side of the road a couple months ago.

I really love the pattern in the wood.

I am going to use this for sauces or give it away.

    I read about the lathe being used to make so many different things, it must be a very useful tool..

      It is a super fun tool to use. It makes a mess though with shavings everywhere.
