Here is a drone photo of the back area of our Tiny House. You can see our new deck, our solar panels, our shed, our plot, and the small dot which is our Weather Station.
We have filled in a lot of areas with lava rocks we broke down with our sledge hammer. We are debating as to whether to put in some concrete. The reason for this is that the rocks tend to shift and thus makes it hard to walk on. The reason why we are hesitant to put in concrete is that it will change the look of the landscape which looks pretty natural.
The other solution would be to smash more rocks with the sledge hammer but the gravel can make the footing unstable.
We definitely need to put some concrete in to shore up the Weather Station.
We will probably put in some concrete strategically in certain areas which are rough.
The next thing we will need to do is get some power to the area so we can do some cool things like irrigation.
It would be nice to get some lighting and music up to the deck area. The first order of business is to make a table and seating that we can leave there and not have to break down and move every time we have to go back to Oahu for work.
