Offgrid Woodworking in Hawaii - Small Avocado Wood Bowl

We turned this small Avocado Wood Bowl yesterday and finished it today.

We really liked the patterns in this wood.

We only used oil and then Wipe-on-Poly to finish the piece. Avocado Wood is very porous so we believe it is important to use Wipe-on-Poly to seal the pores to it is as food safe as it can be.

We just love the character Avocado Wood has.
