DIY Hanging Basket

Hello lovely Steemit Family.

Today, I would like to share My DIY hanging basket.

I have got a native tray or bilao in my native language (Tagalog). It's been there for ages and i rarely used it. And since i have not much space in our small apartment, I have to be creative at organizing and DIYing.

I made this hanging basket to put for my Onion and garlic. They save me space. I also add some a bit of color to look nicer by using a paint.

Materials

• Rattan tray or bilao
• Jute strings
• Scissor
• paint
• Brush

How to make it

• Firstly, I laid my newspaper for working. And i started painting just the sides of the tray, with three different colors (orange, yellow, green).

Paint until the sides are all covered.

• Once dried. Put strings on the sides of the tray using hairpin, (making sure you tie a knot on the space from the jute string). and all the way to the other tray.

• and to the opposite side till become crisscross.

Hanging basket saves a lot of space by just hanging them in the wall.
