This post it's only a small part of all the videos and information that I gathered from the web in the past 4 or 3 years . Is going to show most of the electronic projects that I thought have something different or had specific information that could help me to understand more of the audio, design softwares and electronics.
This is not a profesional perspective of electronics or audio , its the saved information of a guy that like to watch tutorials for:
-Illustration softwares, 3d programs and audio softwares .
It was an accident to find this world of electronics tutorials from all kinds of diferent people with diferent backgrounds.
There were two types of videos that took my attention at the beginning:
-Atari punk machine :
¨The Atari Punk console is a great source of lo-fi synth sounds.¨
http://www.diyaudiocircuits.com/tutorials/atari-punk-console-how-it-works/
¨The Atari Punk Console has become the popular name for a simple circuit that I first described as a "Sound Synthesizer" in Engineer's Notebook: Integrated Circuit Applications (1980) and then a "Stepped Tone Generator" in Engineer's Mini-Notebook: 555 Circuits (1984).
The circuit creates a sequence of tones whose frequencies vary in distinct steps as a potentiometer was adjusted. Some in the electronic music community began experimenting with the circuit and it was eventually labeled the Atari Punk Console by Kaustic Machines. Thanks to YouTube, you can check out some sounds from the Atari Punk Console from the comfort of your computer desk.
Even older than the Atari Punk Console is the integrated circuit (IC) that makes it possible, the venerable 555 timer designed by Hans R. Camenzind for Signetics. The 555 was introduced in 1972 and continues to be one of the most popular integrated circuits ever designed. ¨

It was my first electronic project .The information that I used was from different videos and blogs .
In Youtube there so many Atari Punk projects with different combinations.
You get used to see this kind of boxes with different electronic projects.
There's a lot of combinations with the Atari Punk Machine.
Some Atari projects have another sound than others because of the components mix .
Collin's Lab it's a channel from the MAKE magazine and they have a lot of cool electronic projects for persons that are not involved in this field.
This video (Collin's Lab: Atari Punk Console) is the first video that I watched . In my opinion , is one of the best introduction video for electronic projects .
Circuit bending :
This video was my introduction to the subject . Its a small documentary of the circuit bending creator . Motherboard was behind the production of this video . You can find the documentary in their Youtube channel.
In Youtube and other web pages you can find more ¨Sound Builders¨ playing with all kinds of electronics , like:
Some projects will be more difficult to achieve. Even if the project is more complicated , sometimes its worth it to watch it ,only for the information that you can get .
Before
After
If you like to destroy used toys or electronic devices , here is the video, that showed to me how to do circuit bending in a keyboard toy.
Circuit bending a toy mini piano-Mike Sisk -
This other video is part of 4 tutorials . I suggest that, if you are a rookie , is better to watch the 4 videos. If not , you should probably skip the first and second video and go direct to the action .
Those videos shown me that my knowledge in music softwares and design programs could merge with this DIY (do it yourself) movement in the electronics field.
In my next post I will write about more audio projects analog and digital.
If you like any kind of electronic device for music , I would like to know , if you have information about the subject ,please write something in the comments .Sharing information is important in every field .

Pretty cool post. I like this stuff so much. I did a video with a circuit bent toy keyboard and I posted this week (not spam):

Great post, I am also interested in synthesis and have experience circuit bending as well. If I can find some AA batteries laying around I'll try to take a video of my circuit-bent kid's keyboard I made with a friend about 8 years ago. Now that I have a full time job that keeps me busy, it's hard to find time for DIY synth projects but thank you so much for the reminder, I will try harder to find some time.
Synthesis is the coolest hobby because like a (sonic) explorer you can make sounds that truly no one in the world has ever heard before. And how cool is that? Don't spend your time trying to sound like that song or artist you like, make your own sounds, make original art.

tag me when you post that so I can check it out. Mine was created by michael rucci (he do amazing work in that field) and this is the video he did before I bought it from him (because I had to)

Nice list! I also started off building synth with the atari punk. Also great to combine with a Baby 10 sequencer.
