@aunt-deb challenged me to create a project with the following materials:

SIXTH WEEK'S AVAILABLE RAGTAG RESOURCES - Pick Three

Three Dozen Concrete Blocks, 8" x 8" x 16"
Three 5' x 16' Wire Cattle Panels
Six 8' Lengths of 1/2' Rebar
Six Metal Roofing Panels, 3' x 6'

TOOLS - Pick Three

Hammer ~ Saw ~ Drill ~ Shovel ~ Cart ~ Tin Snips ~ Wedge
Trowel ~ Bolt Cutters ~ Post Hole Digger
Your choice on power or hand tools. Fasteners are freebies.

Project: Compost bin.

I Chose the following resources:
Three 5' x 16' Wire Cattle Panels
Six 8' Lengths of 1/2' Rebar
Six Metal Roofing Panels, 3' x 6'

and the following tools:
Tin Snips, Bolt Cutter, shovel.

Cut 1 of the wire cattle panels into 4 foot long lengths and the other 2 into 12 foot long lengths using the bolt cutter. Dig 6 holes 3 feet deep separated four feet apart, 3 rows so it looks like the 6 dots on a die. Bury the 6 lengths of rebar 3 feet deep so that 5 foot is above ground. Take one of the 12 foot long panels and attached it to the "back" of the rebar so you are tying the panel to 3 of the rebar. Take your 4 foot long panels and connect them to the rebar using fencing wire perpendicular to the 12 foot long piece you have already attached so that from above it would look like a capital "E".

You can then place the remaining 12 foot panel as an optional roof to help support the roof panels as well as use your remaining 4 ft long sections as doors for your three compost piles.

Thanks @aunt-deb for considering me and now I challenge @samsiedenstrang!

Great job! I especially like the doors, which will keep thing contained 'til needed, plus it'll keep the chickens from spreading it out all over the place. Very versatile design with the required airflow to keep the compost working.

Well played!

Thanks! Putting this together actually makes me want to make one now! Hahah.

Thanks for thinking of me on the post, @aunt-deb!

Lol... I know, right!?! That can be a side-effect of the challenge...

You're welcome and I'm glad it was fun!
