Your eyes are one of the most important organs in your body, and when they aren't functioning properly, they put an instant stop to your daily life.
We've seen the Jennifer Aniston commercial about "Giving yourself some Eye Love' but this is not an instant cure, quick fix or random product to buy. It is simply an infomercial to get you to the eye doctor. But before you book your appointment or buy a $20 bottle of drops, try this DIY Eye Drop Remedy. But first:

RED EYE
A red eye is an eye that appears red due to illness or injury. It is usually injection and prominence of the superficial blood vessels of the conjunctiva, which may be caused by disorders of these or adjacent structures. Conjunctivitis and subconjunctival hemorrhage are two of the less serious but more common causes.
Conjunctivitis, also known as pink eye, is inflammation of the outermost layer of the white part of the eye and the inner surface of the eyelid. It makes the eye appear pink or reddish. The most common infectious causes are viral followed by bacterial. About 3 to 6 million people get conjunctivitis each year in the United States. Pink Eye is contagious, so don't share your drops or eyeline with anyone.
DRY EYE
Dry eye syndrome (DES), also known as keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS), is the condition of having dry eyes. This can result from contact lens use, meibomian gland dysfunction, allergies, pregnancy, Sjögren's syndrome, vitamin A deficiency, LASIK surgery, and certain medications such as antihistamines, some blood pressure medication, hormone replacement therapy, and antidepressants. Chronic conjunctivitis such as from tobacco smoke exposure or infection may also lead to the condition. Among older people it affects up to 70%.
To alleviate your symptoms and cure any infection, try this one DIY Trick first!
Make your own Eye Drops
Salt acts as an antibacterial agent and kills bacteria. Make a natural eye wash by mixing a cup of distilled water with one teaspoon of salt. Boil the solution until the salt dissolves completely. Allow the solution to cool down and then drop your eyes with a dropper or place in a shotglass and flush your eyes. Repeat it several times a day until healed.
For more severe cases, add a few drops of honey before heating
Honey is effective as an antibiotic in several ways. When applied, honey releases slowly hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), an antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antiseptic compound produced from an enzyme, disinfecting the wound, killing the germs and healing the issue.
This trick works wonders. It does tingle for a few seconds but the relief you will feel is heavenly.
If your issues persist, then it is best to see an optometrist for advice.
