Beginner Bar DJ Tip #27 - Drinking and Driving Home from GigssteemCreated with Sketch.

It should be common knowledge for anyone that you shouldn't drink and drive. Depending on where you live and your means of transportation it's something that you can't ignore as a DJ.

For you suburbanites keep in mind you are going to be leaving work after the bars close, so any police patrolling the area are going to think you've been at the bar drinking all night.

If they pull you over and ask what you've been doing your gut reaction and what you should do is tell the truth, but guess what even though you're just leaving work most officers will assuming since you're a DJ you're drunk so expect some kind of a test.

Make sure if you do drink do it early and in moderation.

Drinking and driving is something very serious and dangerous.

A $300 gig with a $100 tab can end up costing you $10,000.
