Just wanted to post this video of my son, DJ NOVA, performing at lasts years Valle de Oro’s National Wildlife Refuge 4th birthday Party celebration

My son takes classes at Warehouse 508 here in town. This is a great organization that offers a ton of great programs for the kids to try out. A lot of the focus is hip-hop oriented but as you can hear from my sons mix, they will allow the kids to play whatever they enjoy.

I really appreciate his mom pushing him to do things that he is not always comfortable doing and exploring new and fun things. Even though her and I are no longer together (over 10 years now in the past), I recognize how lucky my son is to have such a great mom. Luckily we both realize for his own good and growth that we must treat each other with respect and work together for his benefit.

I hope you all enjoyed this rookie DJ performing in front of others. By the way, this event was fully powered by solar power. I wish I would have taken some photos of the panels but I never thought I would be posting this on social media when i was there last year.
