At the Symbiosis Oregon Eclipse this past August I got to host a handful of different workshops, one of which was a "Learn to Be a DJ" workshop for the little ones.
We mashed and mangled sounds, we learned the basics of BPM, beat-matching and Keys, we rocked the psytrance, we got a little funky with some mid-tempo and we rolled low with some dub. . . we even got a little lesson on "feeling the crowd". . .
That event was amazing, and the Eclipse was MINDBLOWING!
Also, if you don't know about our Rainbow Lightning Youth Village then you may just want to check it out! We create fun and interactive spaces for kids and their families to have fun together in a festival setting. www.rainbowlightning.org
