Cryptotraders have been stifled by recent policy uncertainties. Another Indian cryptocurrency exchange is downing its shutters.

Coinome, backed by the online payment gateway Billdesk, announced yesterday (May 09) that it will be halting operations from May 15. However, it remains unclear if the company plans to exit the Indian market completely or has only temporarily shut shop.

Coinome announced on twitter that they're suspending all orders effective 2pm on 15th May 2019 and their customers are adviced to withdraw or transfer all their coins.

This is the third exchange in India which has decided to stop their operations after Zebpay and Coindelta. This is happening because of banking ban and also because of no clarity about cryptocurrencies by the Govt. Coinome exchange has not gone for P2P model so it became difficult for them to run in this difficult situations.

This is a very sad news as this is one of my favourite exchange in terms of service and support. This is by BillDesk which is the biggest payment gateway in India. I hope Govt will be positive on this and upcoming hearing in July will bring some positive outcome..

Thank you.
