India's first biofuel-powered flight that aims to reduce costs of air travel by replacing the costly aviation turbine fuel was successfully tested today. A 72-seater SpiceJet aircraft, powered by biofuel, took off from Dehradun for Delhi this morning.

Thats brilliant news sort of....problrm with bio fuel is that massive areas of land are used to grow the crops needed to create bio fuel that could be better used growing crops for hungry people to eat. Boeing and Airbus both tested flights running on bio fuel a few years ago but not heard anything since. Hydrogen cells are the future!
