The Wests Tigers have kept their finals hopes alive in emphatic fashion with a convincing 28-4 win over the North Queensland Cowboys at Leichhardt Oval.
The win provisionally catapulted Michael Maguire's team into eighth, spot as they got their own campaign back on a sound footing after just one win over the previous month.

While in a logjam of sides scrambling to crack the top eight, they now have the inspiration to return to finals football for the first time since 2011 with club legend Robbie Farah to hang up his boots at season's end.
