The Philippines is divided into 17 geographical regions and this article lists the top 9 destinations in one of the regions called Central Luzon. The photographs of many of the destinations are very scenic and enticing to look at.
If you are westerner you won't have to worry about culture shock because centuries of rule by Spain and near five decades under the USA has made the thinking, culture and psychology of the people of the Philippines virtually westernized although they are Asians.
The Philippines is relatively economical for meals, travels and stays compared to many other countries in the Asia Pacific.
