40 years old

In a sense my first use of a Unix(tm) alternative was before there was a Linux when first installing Minux at the end of the 80's. We were more than ready for when Slackware was released in the early 90's. My guess is my age was around 40 at the time. My bet is that many of you were not yet born. 😎

I've never used Linux before. Is there some sort of insane advantage to using it? I ask out of pure ignorance because I've never really looked into it!
