Today I read a very interesting article. It is about people who lie to themselves. Very insightful. I think almost everyone except for a small minority lie to themselves is some way or other. New research provides the first evidence for a theory first put forward in the 1970s.Here is the link: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/living-a-lie-we-deceive-ourselves-to-better-deceive-others/

i lie to myself too, but i know it so it doesnt hurt hahahaahah

i saw some comments on your wallet by others, please do you own journey here and let people who ask things do their thing. Nothing is a must here.
be focused on people who mean well.......

Most of us have been brought up to think that lying is immoral. I think if you have to lie to save a larger cause it is okay and should be encouraged. At the end of the day, the noble intention behind your lying is more important than the lying itself.

Amen!

Yes, I have responded to you. XOXO.

It is very sad when people deceive themselves and they dont even know it and that is self deception.

Perhaps you too could be deceiving yourself without knowing. It needs a lot of awareness to find out whether you are deceiving yourself. IMHO anyone who believes that he is superior to someone else because of the country he is born in, or the family lineage he belongs to or the religion he belongs to or for that matter for any other reason is deceiving himself/herself.

Some people could be better off than others because of their station in life etc. That does not give them the right to remove the word "off" from the previous sentence and treat the others as inferior and thereby giving them the right to ignore the others (for instance the minorities in a country), or convert others (for instance from one religion to another religion or belief system) or simply eliminate the others (as you see in despotic regimes).
