Dina Titus to Champion Cannabis Banking Bill

Dina Titus, a representative from the state of Nevada is working to champion the SAFE cannabis banking bill.

 

The bill will enable states who have legalized cannabis to allow banks to operate alongside and with the cannabis industry.  

 

Currently, cannabis companies cannot utilize banking services.  This is because cannabis is federally illegal, and has been since 1937.  The cannabis bill will increase the safety and legitimacy of the industry itself.
