James Rodriguez intend to make an impact in Real Madrid this season after spending two years away on loan. There were also speculations about him leaving Real Madrid during the summer transfer window. He finally decided to stay in Madrid and he hopes to become an important player for the Madrid side this season.
James started in the match against Real Valladolid on August 24th where they played a 1-1 draw. The match was his first since May 2017.
James was quoted saying "I really hope that this can be my season with Real Madrid," according to El Chiringuito
His last two seasons were spent at Bayern Munich on loan. Currently, James is recovering from a calf injury sustained in action for Madrid prior to the international break.
