Unfortunately, the latest generation of American high school graduates, thanks to leftist, government-controlled education, are unaware of the horrors and dangers of communism/socialism. Only those who were educated privately or read lots of good books outside school know any real history. Consequently, young people vote disproportionately Marxist. They don't have a clue--or else they think it could never happen her in the USA. It has already happened to many of them--drugged with Ritalin or Adderall so they could sit through their boring indoctrination in 13+ years of government "education."
