Major League Baseball is getting close to its trade deadline which comes at the end of July. This means we see a lot of speculation about players who are on teams which have no shot at the playoffs.
The Detroit Tigers are in that category which means Nick Castellanos is drawing some interest. Rumors are the Cubs desire to add another strong bat to their lineup and the powerful Castellanos fills that need.
Chicago is in a heated battle for the division with the NL Central being one of the tightest divisions in baseball.
