The New Orleans Pelicans are going to have to wait for the one being looked at to turn the franchise around.
Zion Williamson, the superstar in the making, is going to miss 6-8 weeks after surgery on his knee. The injury was a lot worse than initially expected. The Pelicans told the media that the injury was not thought to be serious.
Williamson is proving himself to be a bit injury prone. He hurt the same knee at Duke in the infamous sneaker incident.
He then hurt his other knee in the NBA Summer League which limited him to a total of 9 minutes of play.
Now he is going until December before his NBA career gets started.
