John Henry and the Boston Red Sox enjoyed a great deal of success under his ownership. The organization broke the curse of the bambino and won the World Series. They added two more to it.
This Winter is a rough one for Red Sox fans since the team didn't spend any money. To make matters worse, the Red Sox went on an austerity program. They traded start Outfielder and former MVP, Mookie Betts. Also in the deal was David Price who was sent in a cost cutting scenario.
Henry took to the public to explain the decision.
