Dallas Keuchel waited a long time to get a contract in 2019. He held out until after the June draft because of the draft pick compensation attached to him.
This off season went a little different.
It is not even the new year and the former Atlanta Brave pitcher has a new home. He is going to Chicago after agreeing to a 3 year, $55 million deal with the White Sox.
The team was trying to add another starter to line up with the top two they have. Reports are they offered Zack Wheeler the most money but he signed with the Phillies to be closer to his wife's family.
They now have their man in Keuchel.
