I read a post the other day from someone bemoaning then fact they had to send 6 bags of grass clippings to landfill and complaining about wasteful lawns in general.
I was aghast and had to point out that grass clippings made perfect composting material.
Making yourmown compost at gome is easy and cheap and takes up as muchnroom as you want. Even just a small bucket will produce compost for houseplants (check soil pH).
