Two U.S. lawmakers wish the Federal Reserve to think about making a digital greenback.

In a letter sent to Federal Reserve Chairman Doctor of the Church Powell, Rep. French Hill (R-Ark.) and Rep. Bill Foster (D-Ill.) define issues they need concerning risks to the U.S. greenback if another country or non-public company creates a wide used cryptocurrency, and raise whether or not the financial institution is wanting into making its own version.
