I actually didn't get wgy musicians have to bash their fellow musicians just because the other preferred to sound commercial. Artists need to earn. They will work hard to gain earnings. I am not a fan of Nickelback, but they were popular then. People can hate them whatever they want, but they were once the biggest selling band of their time.
Imagine Dragons were currently lambasted for sounding pop. That's what people listens to. Of course, give what people demands.
With Slipknot, yes, they made a mark in rock music scene. But they were never huge as the others like Linkin Park. That guy needs to sober.
