My Portfolio #14 Jewellery box on stand.

I designed his jewelry box on a stand for a client of mine.

It is made from English walnut and sycamore. I chose these timbers because they have a nice but subtle contrast.

There was some variation of colour in the walnut but I used this to my advantage an book matched the wood.

It stands around 42" high and has red baize lining the drawers.

Many thanks,

@jist

I am happy to see there are still some people who enjoy wood working and love their hobby or work enough to try and create beauty.

Excellence in work only exists when we take pride in what we do and love the work. It does not come about because of bonusses or high salaries (though they do help, I suppose)

Well done!

PS How did you manage to earn $0.49 out of 96 votes! Wish I could give you a bigger vote...because I admire people who love what they do

Thank you and yes it is my passion and I am glad it shows. I am fortunate enough to do something I love everyday. If your going to work most of your life it may as well be at something you enjoy right?

It all depends on the sp size of the voter plus the percentage they vote.
