PayPal Considers Libra Exit, but it's Business as Usual for Facebook

Stay away from project Libra as much as possible, it doesn't seem that needs to be said often as the reaction from governments and now investors (PayPal, VISA...) is very unfavorable to Facebook.

If the likes of PayPal and MasterCard starts questioning the transparency of Facebook and are concerned about scruntinies from regulators then it's time to pull out.

How will this impact Facebook's Libra as it seems to remain unmoved remains to be seen with time.

I think PayPal are threatening to pull out because Germany and France said it would be barred from Europe, India too so only 2 of the top 5 economies would allow it at all.

That could play a role too, it will be interesting to see what form of money we will end up with in the end, I strongly hope it will be decentralized cryptocurrencies

As long as there are central banks I just don't see the dominant currency being crypto. We can hope though.

The banks are already feeling the heat, adadvancement in technology in an indication of things are never going to remain as it has always been.
I have a feeling the time will come when the banks will have less power in controlling us financially.
