Renowned Pakistani boxer Mohammad Wasim defeated Mexico's Gunnigan Lopez at the 'MTK Global' boxing event in Dubai.

Mohammad Wasim has set his sights on the flyweight title in 2020, beating his 38-year-old rivals 73-80 and twice 75-77 in an eight-round fight.

Their victories are currently 1-10 with eight knockouts. In the rankings released by the World Boxing Council in 2017, Pakistani boxer Mohammad Wasim was named as the number one boxer in the flyweight category.

Mohammad Wasim, from Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan, is the first Pakistani boxer to receive this award.
