For centuries, scientists have worked to understand the makeup of Jupiter. It’s no wonder: this mysterious planet is the biggest one in our solar system by far, and chemically, the closest relative to the Sun. Understanding Jupiter is key to learning more about how our solar system formed, and even about how other solar systems develop.

my 2 cents:

There are only a few test series missing to be able to prove the existence of water on Jupiter. Very interesting.

I have heard that Jupiter is in gas form and life is not possible there.

@mgibson If you are really interested in Jupiter, you can find good informations in this wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jupiter

Jupiter
Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest in the Solar System. It is a giant planet with a mass one-thousandth that of the Sun, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in the Solar System combined. Jupiter and Saturn are gas giants; the other two giant planets, Uranus and Neptune, are ice giants. Jupiter has been known to astronomers since antiquity.

I think the red spot on jupiter is a big storm!
