CEO Peter Beck of Rocket Lab recently announced that his company will begin retrieving the first stage of its Electron rocket with a helicopter.

Rocket Lab scrubbed its Electron rocket for its eighth mission, launching from Launch Complex 1 on the Mahia Peninsula in New Zealand due to strong ground winds. For this mission, Electron will loft 4 satellites into orbit for UnseenLabs and Spaceflight. The launch window stretches to August 30 with the next opportunity yet to be revealed.
