Interesting. Pinterest has about 250 million monthly active users. Its monthly ad revenue is $83 million. Per monthly active user, the ad revenue per month is $83/250 = 33 cents. Not much. The number of monthly active users of all Steem apps put together is perhaps around 50,000. Advertising is not the answer at this stage.
What we need is AGGRESSIVE GROWTH. Marketing is key. For Steem, the crypto bubble of last year has actually been a curse in disguise because it has led to complacency. With growth figures to show, Steem can attract investors.
