My wife and I work with Autistic children so although to many, articles like this one, in this case about an amazing young artistic artist may come as a surprise, to us, they are normal rather than unexpected.
One thing that seems to be a theme with autistic kids is that they have very special creative talents, whether that be for music, art, design or even numbers and coding, it just needs to be discovered as early as possible and gently nurtured. Of course, in the most severe cases, this may not always be possible so I am not aiming to suggest that having autistic children is ever going to be easy, it never is, no matter their severity but the point is, never to give up with them and to encourage their positive, often artistic, sides.
Autism is huge spectrum and no two cases are ever the same but just like any other kids, they are joyful to be around. My hope is everyone can learn to be tolerant of those who are just wired up slightly differently to others and are allowed to express their emotions and desires in their own way and if you have an autistic child yourself, take heart from this story and never give up on them. Best wishes
