Bitcoin and the regulators are at odds. This makes sense since regulators do not understand software developers and software developers do not want to talk to regulators. Facebook's entry into the crypto sphere is going to get the discussions going about regulation. Will this impact bitcoin going forward? Open communication is a starting point, something bitcoin advocates do not want to participate in. To them, regulators are the enemy.
