The WooCommerce plugin commenced it’s existence as a fabricated from a enterprise known as WooThemes. After unsuccessfully looking to work with Jigoshop (every other ecommerce offering), WooThemes employed the principle builders of Jigoshop (Mike Jolley and James Konster) and forked (created a brand new department of the code) to develop their eCommerce platform, which eventually became WooCommerce.
