The theory still very much active about Kaido been a reall dragon mythical creature or a huge human that ate a devil fruit but so far, points provided seema to tally he is actually a dragon, especially when they classified him as been the strongest creature on earth, air and water and we all know that, devil fruit users loose their ability when they get in contact with the sea.
If he was a devil fruit user, the classification wouldn't involve him been the strongest in water.
