Barcelona forward and loanee, Arda turan is at the point of serving a 2 years and 8 months jail-time for sexual assault, the illegal possession of a gun, for deliberately shooting it to cause emotional distress, anxiety and fear. He has been charged by a court in Turkey as a result of his offenses but that doesn't mean he will be going to jail immediately. The jail-time/sentence is currently in suspense but could go into full action if the the forward commits another crime in Turkey within 5 years. According to reports, he got into a fight late last year with a Turkish singer which left him(the singer) with a broken nose, he was later admitted for treatment at a hospital. But that same night, it was reported that turan went to the hospital with a gun, firing some shots to the ground which resulted to panics.
