How to Defend Against a Shirt Grab - Self Defence

One of the most common ways you can get attacked is that someone comes and grabs your shirt or collar first and then punch you to your face.

Since he/she grabs your shirt, you cannot go anywhere and if you stay there, you will get hit on your face. So what should you do at the moment?

He/She grabs your shirt and then throw a punch. First, defend the punch. Otherwise, it will decorate your face. You know what I mean...lol... And you don't want that to happen, do you?

After defending the punch, you can grab his hand that holds your shirt and get rid of that. There are different ways of doing that. In this video, you will see how to do that in an easy and simple way.

When the attacker attacks you, please don't wait to get the hit. React to it as soon as possible. Add the element of surprise. It will work much better.

That's it for today. Hope you will find it useful. And thank you so much for reading my post. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts in the comment section

Glad to know you found it useful. It is difficult to explain everything in words. The good news is, what I am trying to say in the post, there is a similar video on YouTube. I usually share videos when I make posts so that it would be easier to understand.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I appreciate that!
