June Mar Fajardo was currently injured, and it is still not sure when can he go back to playing. San Miguel Beermen actually need to have someone to bring the team back up.
Meanwhile, he and Christian Standhardinger had worked together before when the latter is still with San Miguel Beermen. Standhardinger has high regards with Fajardo, and he is sympathetic towards him. Injury has always been a huge frustration for the players.
