Twins as young as eight months old were returned to the adoption agency because the adoptive parents found out that they would be the biological parents, plus the connection with the mother was minimal, and even felt very little connection with them, yet the father loved them the most; they still returned them for someone else to adopt. It happened in the United Kingdom.
