The Jay Gruden firing by the Washington Redskins does not solve the problem.  If the Redskins were to truly make a change, Dan Snyder should fire himself.

Since buying the team in 1999, he went through 7 head coaches, none of whom had a winning record.  The team has only made two playoff appearances.  Under his ownership, the team is almost 50 games under .500.

What was once a storied franchise shows how awful it truly is.
