I don't know if it will work for him this time but it is a playbook that he used effectively 2 years ago.  Will it backfire on him or not?  The one thing he has going for him is people are working for the most part.  That tends to bode well for incumbents.  Of course, that does not mean his coattails are long, if they even exist.
