Every once in a while I come across an article like this that paints a picture of hope and optimism contrast to what we see everyday. Zat Rana has grown to become my favorite Medium writer and we tend to be on the same page on many things. I'm not much of a fan of newton. But I greatly relate with this quote:
“I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.”
Smart People Don't Learn From Their Mistakes - They Learn From Other People's Mistakes
This is where play comes to play. It's like a sandbox or a virtual machine. Play is a place where we can learn and experiment in a safe way and stay fresh and stay on the edge always evolving like the Borg or Shin Godzilla or my favorite of them all; Gurren Lagnn
On a final note I'd like to add this video on Hideo Kojima's upcoming masterpiece Death Stranding and the Homo Ludens - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homo_Ludens
