I think you should rest your eyes. During my ophthalmology internship I saw a young patient maybe same in your age. And she lost vision in her eye. Good that she was seeing with her other eye, but when doctors asked her what happened, she said she's translator and looking at computer screen all the time.
That's why I'm thinking like our eyes are so important.
But they taught us red eye is so common and mostly get healed fast. But if it's infection, you should be careful and see a doctor.

It looks like conjunctivitis.. and maybe trauma or object in your eye. Better to see a doctor immediately. In both conditions there's nothing to worry about.
Do you feel pain in your eye? Do you have loss of sight?
And I'm wondering how did it happen at start? Sometimes even coughing or sneezing can lead to subconjunctival hemorrhage (bleeding in eye capillaries). If it happened, it will pass in 2-3 weeks. But your eyelid is swollen too. That's why I suggest you to see a doctor.
