About a month or so ago they implimented their new terms that basically forced people to stop bullying in the comments and live. It also forced the streamer to be held responsible for what was being typed in the chat as well, and use of racial terms where a immediate ban.

While most of the terms are fine, and keeps the whole streaming world somewhat wholesome, it just put extra pressure on the streamers themselves to make sure people where behaving or they could be banned. It has all ready caused a few major streamers to be banned and kicked from twitch.

Ah interesting. I hadn't heard about that - looks like even Twitch could be going the way of YouTube then.

Its slowly getting there, at least twitch is paired with amazon prime and that gives you a free sub every month, which allows many to stay a float. However subbing to a streamer generally means they only get 50% of that $5.00 price.

I also have not heard about how ad placement and deals work yet, and that would be interesting to see how that is handled.
