Exploring Saddle Mountain in Arizona

Thanks for taking us along on that hike. It’s really more beautiful out here than I expected. Coming from the northwest I wasn’t sure how I would like it with no trees but I’ve found it to be uniquely beautiful. The stars in Lake Havasu, out here on BLM, are spectacular and the sky is so big. That’s one benefit to no giant trees. Safe travels.

The trees really introduce a whole other type of world. That new world hasn't really been here all that long compared to the age of the Earth. When measured in time, the desert world is common to this planet and many other planets. Being out here feels more ancient to me than the forests back home. The new world has its own wonders and is so much more rare in the grand scheme of things.

Thank you for your well wishes. I wish you the same on your upcoming trip back North.
